Logos, Pathos, Ethos,

Logos

Logos references the usage of logicality when writing or/and speaking to persuade someone or a group. This can include making an appeal to the logical applications through stating facts, quotes or statistics. These assist with writing and speaking by giving an explanation or reasoning that appeals to less emotionally inclined situations such as business and political involvements.

Pathos

Pathos references to the usage of an emotional standpoint. This can include using emotionally provocative language, stories or hypothetical situations to appeal to those who are more motivated or convinced by the emotional standpoint rather than the logical or ethical points. This can be seen with many charities and how they use an emotional standpoint in order to convince the watchers to donate.

Ethos

Ethos is particularly set apart from Logos and Pathos due to its principal and usage. The idea of Ethos is to use one's credibility, trust, or status to convince someone or argue against them. This can be seen in many advertisements through celebrities giving the product status by being involved with it.
